Welcome to White Sails Inn, a charming bed and breakfast nestled in the heart of Kennebunk.
Originally known as the Elizabeth Rose House, the inn was first sold on April 5, 2022, to Maine native Armand Boudreau. On May 5, 2023, it found its new owner in Susanne Lillis, who brings a rich heritage from her Danish roots and nearly two decades of life in Rangeley, Maine.
Since then, the inn has undergone thoughtful enhancements while maintaining its cozy, coastal Maine charm. From fresh interior paint and updated décor to new landscaping features, a relaxing outdoor fire pit, and a revamped patio, the White Sails Inn is more welcoming than ever. Today the inn has six guest rooms, each with a private ensuite bath, and guests booking the Esther can add the Varna—ideal for families with children 12 and older, or two couples traveling together. Check-in is from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, check-out is by 10:00 AM, and a homemade three-course breakfast is served each morning at 8:30.

The Inn is located 4 miles (10 minutes) from Kennebunk Beach, 6 miles to Wells Beach, and 10 miles to Ogunquit Beach. We provide beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas on a first come basis. We are close to everything the area has to offer, only 30 minutes from Portland, 1 1/2 hours from Boston, and 5 minutes from Exit 25 and all points north and south.
The Inn is great for couples’ getaways, family reunions, girlfriends’ weekends, or small corporate retreats. We also offer a private meeting room with space for up to 12 people. Individual rooms are best suited to guests 12 and older; children under 12 are welcome when the whole inn is reserved.
